FixSmart · Draft updated 6 October 2026
Terms of Service
These terms describe the current FixSmart website workflows for people seeking home services in Dubai and for professionals responding to requests.
1. FixSmart and these terms
FixSmart is a Dubai home-services platform. The legal name and registered address of its operating entity will be added after verification. You can contact us at fixsmart.ae@gmail.com. By using an account or submitting a request, you agree to these terms as presented at that time. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. How requests work
You may leave a request for the FixSmart team without creating an account. This is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. To publish a job for professional responses or communicate through a customer account, you must sign in. Relevant professionals may respond, but a response, visit time, price or completed job is not guaranteed. Any response-time estimate on the website is a target, not a guaranteed arrival or acceptance time.
Service descriptions and package examples help you describe a task. The actual scope, diagnosis, price, materials, access requirements, approvals and schedule should be confirmed in writing before work starts.
3. Professionals and responsibility
Public profiles and moderation help customers compare professionals, but do not by themselves verify every licence, qualification or suitability for a particular regulated job. Unless FixSmart explicitly confirms a different arrangement in writing, the selected professional is responsible for their diagnosis, quotation, work, safety, permits, invoice and any warranty they offer. Customers should check building, landlord and authority approvals where relevant.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in method. Google sign-in may create or connect an account using the verified Google identity. Do not impersonate another person, submit misleading jobs, upload unlawful or unsafe material, misuse contact details, bypass platform access controls or interfere with another user’s account. Professional users must provide accurate profile, service and document details. We may restrict accounts or content where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
5. Your content and communications
You remain responsible for the descriptions, images, messages and reviews you submit. You give FixSmart permission to host, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service and handle your request. Do not include another person’s private information without authority to share it. Messages sent through external channels such as WhatsApp or Telegram may also be governed by those services’ terms.
6. Prices, payments and changes
Search results, package descriptions and displayed starting prices are informational unless clearly stated as a binding offer. Confirm diagnostic charges, labour, parts, VAT, cancellation rules and any variation directly in the agreed quotation before work begins. Do not treat a submitted FixSmart request as payment or a completed purchase. Any future in-platform payment flow will need its own reviewed terms.
7. Problems, safety and complaints
For an immediate hazard, contact the appropriate emergency, building or utility service first. Report platform issues or service complaints to fixsmart.ae@gmail.com with the request reference and relevant evidence. We may help route a complaint, but we do not replace a competent authority or guarantee the outcome of a dispute between a customer and professional.
8. Availability and liability
The website and third-party integrations may be interrupted. We aim to keep them available and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or a particular professional outcome. Nothing here removes a consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limits on FixSmart’s liability, governing law and dispute forum require legal review and are not finalised in this test draft.
9. Updates
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes should be communicated before they apply to an existing account or transaction where required by law.
